By accessing or using SignSnap.ai ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SignSnap.ai is an electronic signature platform that allows users to upload PDF documents, place signature fields, and send secure signing links to recipients. SignSnap.ai is a technology platform only — it is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.

3. Electronic Signatures

Electronic signatures created through SignSnap.ai are intended to be legally binding under the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN Act, 15 U.S.C. § 7001 et seq.) and applicable state laws. However, SignSnap.ai makes no warranty or representation regarding the legal enforceability of any specific document or signature in any particular jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of electronic signatures complies with all applicable laws.

4. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

5. Payments and Fees

The Service charges fees on a per-document or per-signature basis as displayed at the time of purchase. All fees are in US dollars and are non-refundable except as required by law or at our sole discretion. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. and subject to Stripe's terms of service.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload documents containing illegal, fraudulent, or harmful content
• Forge or misrepresent the identity of any signer
• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service

7. Document Storage and Retention

Documents uploaded to SignSnap.ai are stored securely and are accessible only to the document owner and designated signers. You retain ownership of all documents you upload. By uploading documents, you grant SignSnap.ai a limited license to store and process those documents solely to provide the Service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. SIGNSNAP.AI DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ELECTRONIC SIGNATURES CREATED THROUGH THE SERVICE WILL BE LEGALLY ENFORCEABLE IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SIGNSNAP.AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE FEES YOU PAID TO US IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SignSnap.ai and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your documents, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
