• Signer information: name and email address of document recipients
• Signature data: drawn or typed signatures submitted by signers
• Payment information: billing details processed by Stripe (we never store your card number)
• Usage data: pages visited, clicks, and session duration via PostHog analytics
• IP addresses and device info: collected automatically for security and fraud prevention

2. How We Use Your Data

We use collected data to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Service
• Process payments and send transaction confirmation emails
• Deliver signing links and completed document notifications
• Maintain an audit trail for signed documents
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
• Analyze usage patterns to improve the product

3. How We Share Your Data

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following third-party service providers, each bound by their own privacy policies:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• PostHog — product analytics
• Vercel — application hosting

We may also disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of SignSnap.ai or its users.

4. Document and Signature Data

Documents you upload are stored securely and are accessible only to you (the document owner) and your designated signers via a one-time secure link. We do not read, analyze, or share the contents of your documents except as necessary to render and deliver them through the Service.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data and documents for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in and to collect analytics data via PostHog. PostHog may set cookies to identify your browser across sessions. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect Service functionality.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict certain processing

The Service is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.
